The Clear and Simple Truth

Many of our government leaders have and are telling us that climate change is not real. Because of this, things have getting worse. A big example is the number of tornadoes.

In 1990, the U.S. had about 150 tornadoes each year. Now, we have over 1,200 tornadoes every year. These strong storms are hurting people, homes, and towns.

🌪️ What’s Causing This?
Scientists have known for over 40 years that climate change is real. It’s one reason why we’re seeing more tornadoes. But some leaders keep telling us it’s not true. That makes it harder to fix the problem.

🌍 Why Denying Climate Change Is a Problem

These leaders, especially in Washington, still don’t want to admit that climate change is happening. That causes big problems:

  1. Not Ready for Storms
Because they don’t believe in climate change, they haven’t helped make better warning systems or storm shelters. This makes tornadoes more dangerous.
  2. No Plan to Stop It
They aren’t working fast enough to stop the pollution that makes the Earth hotter. We need cleaner energy like wind and solar to help the planet.
  3. Bad Rules and Decisions
They make laws that don’t help the Earth. For example, they don’t push for cleaner air or support new green energy.

⚠️ Why This Matters to You
Tornadoes are hitting more places now—even states that didn’t used to get them. That means more people are in danger. More homes, schools, and communities can be hurt.

💡 What You Can Do
If you live in an area that gets tornadoes, it’s important to speak up. Ask yourself:

  • Do I want leaders who protect people and the planet?
  • Do I want a safer future for my family and neighbors?

In the next election, we can keep those leaders in power or pick new ones who will protect our families and our future.

This isn’t about what side you on. It’s about keeping you and your family safe.
